Materials in the Banners lane. The four banner stocks in the Banners lane and the hardware that goes with them.
13 oz vinyl
The standard scrim vinyl: a polyester mesh core coated both sides, hemmed and grommeted. The everyday choice for storefronts, events and fences that do not take heavy wind. Prints full color at 100 dpi and up.
18 oz vinyl
Heavier, stiffer and more opaque. Blockout-style, so light and shadows do not show through, which matters for double-sided banners and anything backlit by the sun. Pick it for long-term outdoor use.
8 oz mesh
Woven with fine holes so wind passes through. The material for chain-link fences, scaffolding, ballfields and anywhere a solid banner would turn into a sail. Prints slightly lighter because of the holes; keep the art bold.
Anti-curl (retractable insert)
A stiffer, curl-resistant stock cut to fit retractable banner stands so the edges stay flat on the roller. Order it with a stand or as a replacement insert.
Finishing
Every banner is hemmed (edges folded and sealed) and grommeted (brass eyelets for ties). Pole banners get a pole pocket top and bottom instead.
Hardware
Pole banner kits with brackets and a 24 inch hardware-only kit, a 36 inch lifetime retractable stand and an economy retractable stand. X-frame banners live in the Signs lane.
